Flight from USA to Zagreb

Today: Your pilgrimage begins today as you depart on your overnight flight to Zagreb. Meals and drinks served aloft.



Today: Arrive in Zagreb. Upon arrival meet your tour guide. Enjoy a guided tour of the Diocletian Palace and the Zagreb Cathedral. Enjoy lunch on your own and take time to walk around this beautiful Croatian city on the Mediterranean Sea.

Evening: Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel in Warsaw.


Zagreb & Plitvice & Lake & Medjugorje

Today: This morning, we depart Zagreb and travel to the beautiful Plitvice Lakes region, full of national parks and tranquil lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thick wooded mountains. We arrive in Medjugorje and check-in to your hotel.

Evening: Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel.



Today: During our stay in peaceful Medjugorje, we will meet and share our faith with thousands of pilgrims from all over the world. In the morning, we will assemble at St. James Church for The English Language Mass. Your local guide will accompany you as you follow the path up the Apparition Hill where the young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. We will pray the Rosary as we climb Podbrdo Hill. Visit Mt. Krizevac, where in 1933 the villagers built a 30’ high cross on the anniversary of Jesus’ crucifixion. Today, wooden crosses and bronze images line the path up the hill, representing the Stations of the Cross. Our guide will arrange a meeting with one of the visionaries in their own homes or a public place. In the evening, we can spend time for individual meditation.

Medjugorje & Dubrovnik & Bari

Today: After breakfast, we will depart for Dubrovnik on the Adriatic Sea. Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, you will enjoy a walking tour of the “Old City”. Your tour will begin at St. Blasius’ Church, dedicated to the Patron Saint of Dubrovnik. Here we will celebrate Mass. We continue on to the Renaissance styled, Rector’s Palace where you will see the Bell Tower Clock and Orlando’s Column. We will stop for lunch at one of the quaint restaurants within this walled city. After lunch, we will tour the Franciscan Monastery and the cathedral. We then travel by ferry to the port city of Bari, Italy on the Adriatic Sea.

Evening: Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel.


Bari & San Giovanni Rotondo

Today: Arrive in Bari in the morning and board your bus for San Giovanni Rotondo, the home of Padre Pio. After celebrating/attending Mass at the tomb of Padre Pio, we tour the sanctuary, see the old church and the crucifix from which he received the stigmata in 1918. You will see the confessional where Padre Pio spent innumerable hours with a multitude of pilgrims, directing them on their journey toward God.  Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gargano Peninsula and a visit to the Grotto of St. Michael the Archangel.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel in San Giovanni Rotondo.


San Giovanni Rotondo & Lanciano & Loreto & Assisi

Today: We will have breakfast at our hotel before we make our way to Lanciano, and visit the Church of St. Longinus where we will view the Eucharistic Miracle and celebrate Mass. We will continue on toward the Adriatic coast to the Marian Shrine of Loreto to visit the Holy House of Nazareth and view the beautiful statue of the Madonna of Loreto. According to Catholic tradition, the Holy House came under threat during the turmoil of the Crusades, so angels miraculously transported the house from its original location in Nazareth to the site in Loreto. Tradition has it that this is the house in which Mary may have first prayed the Magnificat and where Jesus grew to manhood. We stop for lunch before we make our way to Assisi, the hometown of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and the founder of the Franciscan Order.

Assisi & Rome

Today: This morning we will celebrate/attend Mass at St. Mary of the Angels Basilica, site of the Porziuncola, the tiny church in the woods where St. Francis began his ministry and where St. Clare began her religious life. We will tour the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi and view many of his personal possessions. The crucifix that spoke to him, asking him, “Rebuild my Church.” We visit the chapel where St. Francis spent most of his time as well as the Church of St. Clare, where her relics are housed. We then board our bus and travel to Rome.

Rome & Papal Audience

Today: In the morning, we begin by attending a papal audience with Pope Francis. After the audience, we visit the Vatican-Museums to see centuries of beautiful artwork and artifacts. See the artwork of Michelangelo such as the Pieta and then visit the Sistine Chapel. We will explore St. Peter’s Basilica in its entire splendor. It is built over St. Peter’s tomb. Visit the Tomb of St. John Paul II in St. Sebastian’s Chapel. Travel to the Church of St. Peter’s Chains, which contains the statue of Moses by Michelangelo. Visit the Roman Forum, Arch of Titus and then proceed to tour the Coliseum. We drive through Rome and take in the sites on the way back to your hotel.

Today: We begin our day by traveling to the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the largest church in Rome dedicated to the Blessed Mother. It contains a relic from the manger. From here, we visit the Scala Sancta, the stairs Christ climbed to stand before Pontius Pilate. Those who wish may climb the stairs, as is the custom, on their knees. Nearby we visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran which was once the residents for popes. It is here that St. Francis persuaded Pope Innocent III to give permission to begin the Franciscan Order. We visit the Church of St. Paul Outside the Walls where the body of St. Paul is buried. It is the second largest Basilica in Rome and one of the five largest in the world.  At the Church of Domine Quo Vadis, is located on the spot where tradition says Saint Peter had a vision of the risen Christ while fleeing persecution in Rome. He convinced Peter to turn around and face crucifixion himself in Rome. Christ gave him the courage to follow him to martyrdom, as foretold in the Gospels. Finally, we visit the catacombs of St. Callixtus which are among the greatest and most important of Rome.  Here are buried early martyrs and popes of the early church.

Today: We will visit the Trevi Fountain where a coin thrown over your shoulder will guarantee you another visit to Rome; the Pantheon; Piazza Navona with the famous Bernini’s fountains; and Campo de’ Fiori, one of the most colorful street markets in Rome. Continue to the Basilica of San Andrea del Fratte, where Alphonse Ratisbonne was instantly converted when Our Lady appeared to him. This is where St. Maximilian Kolbe said his first Mass and where Our Lady also appeared to St. John Bosco. The remainder of the day will be free for personal activities.

Today: This morning we will transfer to the airport to board our return flight home.
