Flight  from USA to Milan

Today: Your pilgrimage begins today as you depart on your overnight flight to Milan. Meals and drinks served aloft.

Milan

Today: Visit the Cenacolo (The Last Supper). Duomo, “the most magnificent Gothic building in Northern Italy”. Church Santa Maria delle Grazie. Castel Sforzesco. La Scala. Opera House. La Scala Museum. Milan Cathedral (St. Mary of the Nativity). The rest of the day is free to visit the stores and boutiques.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

Milan / Verona / Venice

Today: Drive to Verona. Celebrated by Shakespeare, who made it famous as the romantic setting for the moving tale of Romeo and Juliet. Tour the city. Visit the Minor Basilica of San Zeno, Verona Cathedral. Continue to Venice.

Venice

Today: Tour Venice visiting, Basilica of St. Mark. Piazza di San Marco and the Palazzo Ducale. Free to explore this exotic city. Take a ride on a gondola…

Venice / Padua / Florence

Today: Travel to Padua, where we visit the Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua and celebrate Mass. From here, we continue to Florence, the “Jewel of the Renaissance’.

Florence (Excursion To Pisa)                                                                                                                                      

Today: Visit the Duomo–Santa Maria, the Baptistery The Academia. Franciscan Church of Santa Croce. Those wishing to stay in Florence to browse the markets may do so; others may join us for an afternoon visit to Pisa to see the famed Leaning Tower.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

Florence / Assisi / Rome

Today: Drive to Assisi, home to St. Francis of Assisi. We visit the Basilica housing the Saint’s tomb, and afterwards enjoy a guided tour of the Basilica and the town. After Mass, there is free time to explore and shop before leaving for Rome.

Evening: Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at your hotel.

Rome: Vatican City

Today: Attend a public Papal audience. Visit the Vatican-Museums. Explore St. Peter’s. Church of St. Peter’s Chains. Roman Forum. Coliseum. Drive through Rome and take in the sites on the way back to your hotel.

Today: Visit St. Mary Major. Scala Sancta. Basilica of St. John Lateran. St. Paul’s Basilica outside the Walls. Catacombs of St. Callixtus which are among the greatest and most important of Rome.  Here are buried early martyrs and popes of the early church.
