10 Days Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

A pilgrimage to the Holy Land will be an experience you will never forget. Christians have been going on pilgrimages from the very beginning of our faith. The Holy Land holds importance as the place of Jesus’ birth, life, death and resurrection.

Pilgrimages include visits to Bethlehem where we stop at The Church of the Nativity that commemorates the birth of Christ. We visit sites like the village of Cana, the Sea of Galilee, Mt. Tabor, and the River Jordan, jerusalem and Dead Sea.

Flight  from USA to Israel

Today: Your pilgrimage begins today by boarding your flight to Israel. Meals and drinks served aloft.

2

Tel Aviv / Sea Of Galilee

Today: Arrival. Travel through customs and meet our local tour escort who will accompany you throughout your trip. Board your coach bus for the trip to your hotel for registration.

Evening: Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

3

Mt. Tabor / Cana / Nazareth

Today: Visit Mount Tabor, scene of the Transfiguration. Cana, the site of Jesus’ first miracle. Here couples may renew their wedding vows. The Basilica of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Church, Mary’s Well and the old market.

Evening: Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Sea Of Galilee / Capernaum / Tiberias

Today: We start at Capernaum where Jesus lived, and started his ministry. Mount of Beatitudes (the location of Sermon of the Mountain). Tabgha site of the miracle of multiplication.  Boat trip on the Sea of Galilee.

Haifa / Mt. Carmel / Caesarea By The Sea – Jerusalem

Today: Go to Haifa and Mt. Carmel. Caesarea Marittima, to take a glimpse of the ancient remains of Herod’s. After we travel to the Holy City of Jerusalem.

Evening: Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Bethlehem / Shepherd’s Field / Church Of The Nativity / Ein Karem

Today: Visit Shepherd’s Fields. Church of the Nativity that stands on the site where Jesus was born. Ein Karem, birthplace of St. John the Baptist. Church of the Visitation, where Mary visited her cousin, Elizabeth, and proclaimed the ‘Magnificat’.

Evening: Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Jerusalem / Mt. Of Olives / Getsemane / Pater Noster/ Dorminion Church / St. Peter Gallicantu

Today: Visit Mt. of Olives. Pater Noster where Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer to his disciples.    Garden of Gethsemane. Church of all Nations. Mount Zion, the highest point in ancient Jerusalem. St. Peter in Gallicantu. Where Peter denied Jesus thrice.

Evening: Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Jerusalem

Today: Go to the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrow) praying the Stations of the Cross. Church of the Holy Sepulcher. St. Anne’s Church, the home of the Virgin Mary. The Wailing Wall, the most holy place for Jews. The rest of the day is open for visits to other Holy Sites, shopping or resting at your hotel.

Evening: Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Jordan Valley – Jericho – Qumran – Dead Sea

Today: Go to the Jordan River to renew our baptismal vows. The town of Jericho. Mt. of Temptation where Jesus fasted and was tempted by Satan. The excavations of Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were uncovered. Swim (or rather a float!) in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, renowned for its healing properties.

Tel Aviv to USA

Today: Transfer to the airport to board our return flight home.
